Jhonathan Díaz sits in the Index ungraded on purpose — the stuff model is stability-tested but not outcome-validated, so no big-league arm gets a board flag from it. What did clear the bar is the ERA-FIP luck gap, the distance between what Díaz throws and what the line shows, and we file arm regression calls by hand from that. He's a 29-year-old left-hander from Valencia, Venezuela, with 18 career appearances and 34 strikeouts since his September 2021 debut. The board grade waits for the science.
