Fever Baseball is an independent operation: one engine, a nightly press run, and a public record that includes the misses. Nothing on this site is paywalled and nothing will be sold on an unproven record — the Ledger has to earn that first. Patronage is different: it keeps the presses running while the record accrues.
What patronage pays for: the data pipeline, the card-price archive (recorded nightly and owned by nobody else), and the time to keep every call honest. What it doesn’t buy: picks, alerts, or influence on the boards — the engine doesn’t take requests.
Pay what you want — one-time from a dollar, monthly from $3, cancel anytime. Cards are handled by Stripe; we never see your number. Prefer bitcoin? The address and QR live with the open books on The Till.
Charter supporters get their name in the colophon — the people who backed the record before it had one.
