The Farm

A converged watchlist of the top minor-league prospects — and an honest line about which ones our engine can actually see.

As of as of · 50 ranked · 11 we read · 35 we watch

This ranking is not ours. Consensus watchlist (Baseball America, MLB Pipeline, FanGraphs, Keith Law). Fever reads the AAA names. It is a weighted average of four outside lists — a place to start looking, not a Fever call. Our whole reason to exist is that we keep score of ourselves, so we only put a Fever read on a prospect the engine can actually see: exit velocities exist at AAA and the majors, where the ballparks are wired. Below AAA there is no batted-ball data, so there is no EV95, no board, no call — and we say so on every one of those names rather than imply a grade we never made.

What the market's backing

this week

The watchlist prospects whose cards moved most over the past week — a gauge of where collectors are piling in. This is market interest, not a Fever read:a card price is the crowd's attention, never the engine's call. We show it because the divergence is the story.
