Strike out 201 men in 162.2 MLB innings at 38 and the page writes itself — but the engine won't grade deGrom by choice. Our stuff model isn't outcome-validated, so no arm gets a board flag from it, not even a ninth-round pick out of DeLand, Florida in 2010 with 2,052 career strikeouts.
