Velazquez's EV95 is 107.1, good for the 79th percentile of the 504 Triple-A bats we track, where the median is 104.9 — a 21-year-old left-handed bat from San Pedro who hits the ball as hard as most older men at Columbus. The engine prints no luck gap for him because that number needs major-league results and he has none, so there's nothing to call fair or mispriced yet. A first-round pick in 2023, he's put up a .904 OPS with 22 home runs in 85 Triple-A games, and the contact quality says the production is real, not borrowed.
