Scout’s note
Tatsuya Imai, a 28-year-old right-hander from Kanuma, Japan, debuted this March and has 97 strikeouts in 23 games. In his last MLB appearance, a single game over the past 14 days, he struck out one — a quiet stretch for an arm that has shown real swing-and-miss in year one.
