The Brewers Took the Trophy, and Contreras Took the Market

Milwaukee's World Series run turned one catcher's insert into the hottest card in the hobby, while a couple of former darlings went the other way.

Championship Afterglow

Milwaukee beat Tampa Bay 4-1, and nobody rode the wave harder than William Contreras. His 2025 Topps Home Field Advantage PSA 10 jumped 166.7 percent to $320 on 1,390 sales, making it the biggest mover in the hobby over the last 30 days. Even his older 2021 Topps Chrome Rookie Autographs PSA 10 caught some of the spill, up 43.7 percent to $108. The trophy is still warm and the comps are still climbing.

The PCA Breakout

Pete Crow-Armstrong didn't need a World Series to get the hobby's attention. He placed two different cards in the top five gainers this month. His 2024 Bowman PSA 10 rose 120.2 percent to $205 on 4,387 sales, and his 2024 Topps Heritage PSA 10 climbed 86.5 percent to $243. That's two sets, one player, and a whole lot of collectors chasing the same guy.

The Cooling Shelf

On the other end, Carlos Narváez's 2025 Topps Chrome Rookie Autograph PSA 10 dropped 79 percent to $33, the steepest fall of the month. Rafael Devers followed close behind, his 2018 Topps PSA 10 sliding 71.2 percent to $15. Two different players, two different stages of their careers, same direction. Sometimes the market just walks away.

Split Read on Misiorowski

Not every Brewers card caught the championship breeze. Jacob Misiorowski's 2026 Topps PSA 10 actually slipped 16.8 percent to $250 despite the World Series title. Meanwhile his 2026 Bowman Sterling PSA 10 went the other way, up 30.2 percent to $233. Same pitcher, same month, two markets telling different stories.
