Scout’s note

The ERA-FIP luck gap cleared the bar for a hand-filed regression call, but our stuff model won't grade him: it's stability-tested, not outcome-validated, and no big-league arm gets a board flag from it. A La Jolla product taken in the second round in 2021, Beck is 28 and four appearances into his career, with 13 strikeouts in 12.2 innings (MLB, Yankees) and a 9.95 ERA that reads as due for regression.
