Scout’s note

George Klassen owns one of the best seasons in the sport — 24 strikeouts in 27 major-league innings, a 3.67 ERA — and our Index still lists him ungraded. The stuff model is stability-tested but not outcome-validated, so no big-league arm gets a board flag from it. The ERA-FIP luck gap did clear the bar, though, and that call is filed by hand. A sixth-rounder from West Bend, Wisconsin, debuted this April; the board grade waits for the science.
