Mason Miller came out of Pittsburgh and a 2021 third-round pick, and at 6-foot-5 he is the kind of arm the board would love to grade — but our stuff model isn't outcome-validated yet, so the Index carries him ungraded on purpose. The hand-filed call is what the page rests on: his ERA-FIP gap cleared the bar, and that's where we track arm regression. Seventy innings, a 1.67 ERA, 38 saves — the numbers matter, but the board waits for the science.
