Scout’s note

A 26-year-old right-hander from Chicago, drafted in the 2023 seventh round and debuted the next August, Seth Halvorsen matters — but the board leaves him ungraded on purpose. Our stuff model is stability-tested, not outcome-validated, so no arm gets a flag from it. What did clear the bar is the ERA-FIP luck gap, and we file those regression calls by hand. His 5.90 ERA across 29 MLB innings this season is the surface; the gap underneath is where the read lives.
