Zach Cole, a 26-year-old left-handed-hitting left fielder from Springfield, Missouri, debuted this September after the Astros took him in the 10th round in 2022. Through 34 games he has seven home runs and a .706 OPS but 41 strikeouts — real pop, real swing-and-miss, the profile of a young corner bat still finding his timing.
