Michael Lorenzen needed 82 pitches to record eleven outs, and four of the six runs charged to him came across in the fourth. Drew Gilbert's two-run single on a 3-1 sinker was the blow that separated the inning, and Rafael Devers followed with a ground-rule double down the left-field line. Gilbert had already homered in the third, his sixth, on a 93.4 mph fastball at 2-0. Logan Webb threw six innings, struck out seven, walked nobody, and allowed one run. Cole Carrigg's RBI single in the third gave Colorado its only lead. Webb threw 80 pitches, 57 for strikes. The Rockies managed five hits all night.
