Ashcraft, a 6-foot-5 right-hander from Waco taken in the 2018 second round, debuted this May at 26 and has already thrown 155.1 innings with 161 strikeouts for Pittsburgh. He's in the Index without a board grade — the stuff model is stability-tested but not outcome-validated, so no arm earns a flag from it, regardless of the season. The ERA-FIP luck gap did clear our bar, and that call is filed by hand: the grade follows the science.
