The sixth inning decided it. Ronald Acuña Jr. led off with his first home run of the season on a 69.4 mph curveball, and Matt Olson followed with a 441-foot shot to right that plated two. Michael Harris II added a two-run homer in the same frame, and the Braves scored six in the inning. Slade Cecconi took the loss, charged with five runs — four earned — across five and a third. Bryce Elder gave Atlanta four and two-thirds and allowed two, and Tyler Kinley got the win for a clean sixth. Kyle Manzardo's first homer of the year had given Cleveland a brief lead in the fourth. The Guardians pushed three across in the eighth, which arrived when the margin was already six.
