Seventeen men left on base is not a typo — the Reds collected eight hits, drew walks, and never produced the hit that moved them. Juan Soto's first-inning home run on a 79.2 mph curveball gave New York a lead it never lost, and Carson Benge drove in two runs on a pair of singles to center. Devin Williams walked three in the ninth, struck out three, and stranded all of them on 34 pitches — the kind of save that works until it does not. Eric Wagaman hit his first home run of the season in the second, a 110.1 mph fly ball to left, and Andrew Abbott took the loss with three earned over six.
