Four lead changes, and the last one belonged to Fernando Tatis Jr., whose second home run of the season — a line drive to left in the ninth — decided it. Spencer Steer's two-run homer in the fourth, his 10th, and JJ Bleday's 11th in the seventh had given Cincinnati two leads, and both times San Diego came back. Chase Petty took the loss facing two batters in the ninth, and Wandy Peralta got the win throwing fourteen pitches in the same inning.
