Will Warren struck out eight in 5.2 innings, but six runs scored against him — only two earned — and the Yankees' defense kept putting him in holes he couldn't escape. Spencer Steer's three-run homer on a 93.2 mph sinker in the fifth gave Cincinnati the lead for good, and Stewart's three-run double in the eighth turned a working margin into something else. Stewart drove in six on two doubles and a sacrifice fly. The Reds committed three errors and still won by eight.
