Four lead changes, and Jonah Heim's ninth-inning single to left was the one that held — his grounder scored Henry Bolte and put the Athletics ahead for good. Jung Hoo Lee's three-run triple in the sixth, a line drive to center on an 0-2 sweeper at 82.2 mph, was the biggest swing for San Francisco, and Victor Bericoto followed it with a 445-foot home run at 108.7 mph. Caleb Kilian retired two of the seven batters he faced, charged with four earned. Landen Roupp threw 108 pitches in six innings and left with a lead that did not last.
