Troy Melton threw 6.1 innings of two-hit, zero-run baseball, and the Tigers still needed eleven because Will Warren matched him with 5.1 frames of his own and the bullpens traded zeros. Rosario's line-drive homer to left in the ninth — 110.9 mph off the bat — tied it at two. Camilo Doval came out for the eleventh and walked three, including Spencer Torkelson with the bases loaded. Zach McKinstry's single scored two, Ali Sánchez's throwing error let a third run cross, and Keider Montero struck out three over two innings for the win.
