Jake Burger's three-run homer in the eighth came with two on and turned a 4-3 Texas lead into 7-3. Bryan King gave up four hits and four runs in the inning — 19 pitches, 11 strikes, and a one-run game gone. Yordan Alvarez's 455-foot home run in the sixth, 111.2 mph off the bat, had been the loudest contact of the night, but it only cut Houston's deficit to 3-1. Cal Quantrill held Houston to one run over six innings on 79 pitches, and Cole Winn covered the final 1.1 without a baserunner.
