Bradley threw seven innings on 99 pitches, struck out six, and the only runs against him came on solo home runs — Lowe's in the second and Guzman's in the seventh. Soriano went five innings on 77 pitches and struck out none. Jeffers's two-run double in the third, on an 86.9 mph knuckle curve at 0-2, put Minnesota ahead to stay. Larnach added his seventh home run in the eighth, and Morris handled the last two innings on 37 pitches for the save.
