JJ Wetherholt's 2-run double in the bottom of the 8th scored Masyn Winn and Nathan Church, and the ball caromed off center fielder Cole Carrigg's glove for an error that put Wetherholt on third. Alec Burleson's 441-foot home run in the 5th, hit at 110.3 mph, had given St. Louis its first lead. The Rockies committed 2 errors and left 8 on base.
