A 16th-round pick from Vancouver who debuted in 2024, Smith has become one of the game's best closers: 41 saves, a 1.95 ERA, 107 strikeouts in 74 innings for Cleveland. He sits in the Index ungraded — our stuff model is stability-tested but not outcome-validated, so no arm gets a board flag, even for a 2.6-WAR reliever. The ERA-FIP luck gap cleared the bar for a hand-filed regression call. For now, that's where the work sits.
