Wacha's page exists because the player matters, but the board grade is held back on principle: the stuff model is stability-tested, not outcome-validated, so no arm gets a flag — even in a season like this. The Iowa City right-hander, a first-round pick in 2012, has thrown 200.2 innings for Kansas City with a 3.32 ERA and 158 strikeouts. The ERA-FIP luck gap cleared the bar, and regression calls are filed by hand from it, but the science isn't ready to print a grade next to his name.
