Fourteen hits is what the Blue Jays gave Max Scherzer to work with, and he needed almost none of it. Scherzer gave up one run on four hits in six innings, and by the time Jesús Sánchez broke the scoreless tie with a fifth-inning single, the game was already tilting. Hunter Goodman's 435-foot home run in the sixth was the only run Colorado managed, and it came on an 0-2 curveball he hit 110.9 mph off the bat.
