The no-hitter was gone in the seventh, and so was the shutout, and so was the game. Bryan Reynolds hit a two-run homer off Caleb Thielbar — who faced three batters and gave up three hits — and that was all the offense Pittsburgh produced from three hits all night. Shota Imanaga had thrown 100 pitches, struck out nine, and walked one across six innings of nothing. Carmen Mlodzinski matched him with five and a third of scoreless ball despite six hits and three walks, constantly pitching with traffic. The Cubs left eleven on base, which is the number that tells you they had chances and took none of them.

⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him

PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
