Six times the lead changed hands before Adrian Del Castillo hit a two-run homer to center in the tenth — his first of the year — scoring Corbin Carroll and putting Arizona ahead for good. Jeremiah Jackson had given Baltimore the lead with a two-run shot on a 93 mph fastball in the fifth, his fourth of the season. Ryan Thompson threw a scoreless ninth to send it to extras, and Juan Morillo needed ten pitches to close out the tenth. Tyler Wells took the loss — three hits and two earned runs on 14 pitches — and Baltimore committed the game's only error.
