The Twins' fifth inning was a catalog — Keaschall doubled on a 93.2 mph fastball, Clemens on an 88.8 slider, Wallner on an 88.8 sinker, and each one scored a run. Braydon Fisher faced six batters, recorded two outs, and gave up all three. Toronto answered with single runs in the sixth and ninth, the last on Kazuma Okamoto's 109 mph home run that traveled 401 feet. But the Blue Jays left 11 on base across the night. Justin Topa came in to close it, gave up four hits in the ninth, and still got the save because Minnesota never had to bat again.
