The fifth inning was the game: Kyle Karros singled in a run, Jake McCarthy doubled, Ezequiel Tovar singled, and Mickey Moniak hit a three-run homer — his twelfth — to right field. Jose Quintana started for Colorado, lasted four innings, and left trailing 4-3. Antonio Senzatela threw 26 pitches over three innings of one-run relief. The Rockies left two on base all night.
