Two runs scored on Spencer Steer's double in the fifth, and Steer was thrown out at home on the same play — Schneemann to Rocchio to Hedges. The lead lasted one inning. Hoskins' sac fly tied it in the sixth, and Martínez put Cleveland ahead with a two-run shot to right center in the seventh, his eighth of the year. Cantillo gave up four earned in five innings, and the bullpen behind him allowed one hit over four. The Reds had five hits and left five on base.
