Montero went 6.1 innings and gave up four hits, all singles, and the Twins never scored. Zebby Matthews matched him until the fourth, when Detroit scored twice, and the game opened up from there. Colt Keith's first home run of the season was a two-run shot in the sixth, and Spencer Torkelson hit his 10th in the fourth. Six different Tigers homered on the night. For Matthews, six innings and nine hits and seven earned is a line that will sit with him through the flight home.
