Gunnar Henderson's two-run homer in the third — his fifteenth — was all the offense Kyle Bradish needed for seven and two-thirds innings. Bradish struck out twelve on 100 pitches, allowing one run on five hits, and left with a four-run lead. Ryan Helsley came on for the ninth and gave up two home runs, Dominic Canzone's and Cole Young's, before getting the final out. George Kirby took the loss, giving up three earned in six innings. Leody Taveras tripled in the sixth to score Pete Alonso for Seattle's first run, and Jackson Holliday's fourth homer provided the insurance run that mattered.
