Zach Neto's first-inning homer — 431 feet at 106.8 mph — gave the Angels their only lead of the night. Tommy Troy, in his first triple of the season, started the second-inning rally, and Corbin Carroll ended it with a grand slam on an 81.4 mph changeup. Eduardo Rodriguez gave Arizona seven innings, allowing one run on six hits, and the bullpen followed with two perfect innings. Troy added another RBI single in the third. Sam Aldegheri took the loss, lasting three innings with six earned runs and three walks.
