Brandon Sproat struck out ten in six innings and allowed one hit. Cincinnati managed two hits all night, both after he was gone. Jake Bauers hit the first triple of his season in the sixth to break a scoreless tie, and Andrew Vaughn's sacrifice fly in the eighth gave Milwaukee its second run on four hits. Nick Lodolo matched zeros for four innings before Julian Garcia lost the strike zone in the sixth — two walks, then the Bauers triple on a 92.2 mph fastball. The Reds did not score.
