Thirteen runners left on base is the shape of this one. Freddy Peralta threw 5.2 innings and allowed three runs, all unearned — the Cubs' sixth-inning rally came on two singles, a double, and a fielding error by right fielder Carson Benge that let Alex Bregman take third. Ronny Mauricio's first double of the season, a 106.5 mph line drive, was one of the few Mets hits that did not stall on the basepaths. Pete Crow-Armstrong won it in the tenth with a sharp double to right, scoring Matt Shaw, and New York's nine hits produced three runs.
