Kahlil Watson's first double of the season put Cleveland ahead in the first, and Joey Cantillo threw 90 pitches over six innings — two hits, one run, nine strikeouts. Colt Emerson's third-inning home run off an 82.7 mph changeup was the only damage against him. Then the seventh: Tim Herrin walked two and gave up J.P. Crawford's go-ahead single on an 86.4 mph slider. Daniel Espino walked another batter before Julio Rodríguez singled in an insurance run. Two relievers, three runs, and a 1-0 lead became a 3-1 loss. Andrés Muñoz struck out two in the ninth.
