Ryan Feltner needed 92 pitches to get through 4.1 innings, and the Giants collected 13 hits against Colorado pitching. Six of those came off TJ Shook in two innings of relief. Rafael Devers singled to put San Francisco ahead in the fifth, then doubled in the eighth to start a rally that Willy Adames finished with a 407-foot home run off the bat at 106.6 mph. Colorado's lead, when they had one, lasted half an inning: Willi Castro's two-run shot in the fourth was answered by Bryce Eldridge in the bottom half, and the Giants scored four in the eighth to finish it.
