Cam Cauley's first home run of the season — a solo shot to right in the second — put the White Sox ahead to stay. Chase Meidroth drove in runs in the second and fourth with two separate singles, and Andrew Benintendi added RBI singles in consecutive innings. Cal Quantrill lasted three innings, walked three, and took the loss. Anthony Kay gave Chicago five innings of two-run ball, and Grant Taylor struck out five over two clean innings behind him.
