Bryce Miller struck out nobody in five and a third, and the Rangers put six hits on him before his night ended. Jake Burger's two-run homer in the fourth — a 96.1 mph fastball at 0-2 — was the swing that held up, and his sixth-inning single added a third RBI. MacKenzie Gore gave up three in five innings and left trailing. Peyton Gray worked a clean sixth for the win. Jacob Latz gave up a run in the ninth and still locked the save.
