The fifth inning decided it — four runs scored, and only one came on a hit. Brady Singer threw 100 pitches in 4.1 innings, and the two bases-loaded walks he issued to Kyle Manzardo and Gabriel Arias were the runs that broke it open. Joey Cantillo struck out eight in four innings for Cleveland, and Travis Bazzana's RBI single and Patrick Bailey's sacrifice fly completed the rally. Kyle Manzardo's 425-foot home run in the seventh padded it, and the Reds committed two errors and left ten on base.
