Duran's first double tied it, his second put Texas ahead in the eighth, and his ground-rule double in the ninth won it — three doubles, four RBI, and the last one scored Jake Burger from third. San Francisco had just tied it on Bryce Eldridge's two-run single in the top of the ninth, and Jacob Latz, who had been handed a two-run lead, gave it back before Duran came up. Texas left ten on base and still won, which is the math of eleven hits in a one-run game. MacKenzie Gore threw six shutout innings, gave up three hits, and has a no-decision to show for it. The Rangers used four relievers across the last three innings, and the one who got the win also gave up two runs.
