The Guardians led after one inning on Angel Martínez's two-run single, and the Mets erased it in the second on Marcus Semien's home run and Luis Torrens's two-run shot, then kept going. Nathaniel Lowe's three-run homer left the bat at 111.7 mph and traveled 413 feet, and Francisco Lindor added a three-run shot in the seventh. Slade Cecconi faced five batters, gave up four earned runs, recorded no outs, and was done. Cleveland used seven pitchers. New York had eighteen hits and left eleven on base.
