Dylan Beavers hit a three-run homer in the third to put Baltimore up 4-1, and Minnesota scored four times before the inning ended. Shane Baz gave up nine hits and five earned runs in three innings. Kody Clemens and Victor Caratini had RBI singles, Alan Roden doubled in a run, and Luke Keaschall's sacrifice fly completed the rally. Zebby Matthews gave Minnesota five innings of four-run ball, and the bullpen held — Jeff Hoffman and A.J. Minter each struck out two in clean innings, and the Orioles went down in order in the ninth.
