Joey Ortiz's two-run homer in the second on an 88.1 mph slider put Milwaukee ahead, and the Dodgers did not score again. Jacob Misiorowski went six innings, struck out six, and allowed one run on five hits. William Contreras added a two-run shot in the fourth on a 1-2 cutter. Shohei Ohtani tripled in the third on a 100.3 mph fastball — the hardest pitch anyone saw all night — for Los Angeles's only run. Justin Wrobleski matched Misiorowski inning for inning but gave up the four runs. Aaron Ashby covered the last two innings without allowing a hit. Andrew Vaughn's 108.6 mph groundout in the seventh was the hardest contact of the game, and it produced the second out and nothing else.
