Cade Cavalli struck out eleven Rangers in six innings on 84 pitches, and three relievers covered the last three without giving up a run. José Tena's seventh homer, a center-field shot off a 90.7 mph splitter in the third, gave Cavalli the lead. Andrés Chaparro's three-run blast in the seventh turned a tidy win into something wider, and Abimelec Ortiz got his second double of the season in the sixth. Texas managed four hits and never crossed home.
