Jackson Chourio hit two two-run homers — his 18th in the second, his 19th in the eighth — and the Mets never had the lead. New York managed three hits all night. Sean Manaea threw 95 pitches and left with two outs in the sixth, charged with six earned, and the Milwaukee bullpen gave up two hits across three innings behind Jacob Misiorowski's six. Misiorowski gave up a run in the fifth and still left with the game settled — 89 pitches and a lead that had been there since the first.
