The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Both of Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s early damage swings came on curveballs at 1-0 — an 80.2 mph one he lined to center in the first, and an 80.6 mph one he sent 406 feet to left in the second. Four RBI by the end of two innings, and Joey Cantillo was left to wear 102 pitches across 5.1 innings. Dylan Cease needed only 83 to get through six, striking out four, and the shutout held from there. Cleveland's six hits produced nothing, and the margin was eleven by the time it ended.
