Megill came in to protect a one-run lead in the ninth and gave up three hits and two runs without finishing the inning. Carson Kelly's two-run double had put Chicago ahead, and it lasted until Chourio drove a 0-1 changeup 394 feet to left with Yelich on base. Misiorowski struck out nine in 6.1 innings and allowed one run on four hits, and he left with nothing to show for it. Luis Lara's line-drive single in the tenth scored Turang and ended it.
