Adael Amador led off the game with a home run — his fourth — and it was the only run Colorado scored all night. Jackson Jobe gave up three hits in six and a third innings, struck out eight, and Riley Greene's two-run shot in the bottom of the first answered immediately. Gabriel Hughes lasted two innings, five hits and five earned runs, and Kevin McGonigle's two-run triple in the second — his fourth of the year — opened it wide. Spencer Torkelson went yard in the fifth and Hao-Yu Lee's sacrifice fly scored another, and Brant Hurter and Yilber Díaz finished it with two hits and no runs across the last two and a third.
